A few examples of my freelance branding/website design work
Logo & Website Design: Cloudport CoWorking
Cloudport Coworking is a coworking space based in Portland, Maine. They opened a 2nd location in June 2024 and wanted a refreshed look and website for the new, sleek office space.
This is the final logo that is in use today!
Initially, I created two color palettes for the brand: one for each location. Dark and light blue for their Federal Street location, which has an industrial feel to the space - brick walls, dark wood, black, sleek metal appliances. Sage green and neutral tones for their new Middle Street location, which is a bit more elevated and the physical space is brighter and features more greenery and neutral wood tones.
Iterations & Evolution
Website Redesign
I redesigned the Cloudport website. You can see the old website below:
Below is the new Cloudport website that I designed and built using Squarespace.
Logo & Website Design: Mr. Pickles Maine
A friend asked me to create a website for his non-profit: a vending machine with a purpose. Mr. Pickles is a vending machine with proceeds benefitting local recovery centers. Part of their mission is to build community by sharing affirmations to keep people on track with their recovery.
Mr. Pickles had a logo (left, below), but they felt it looked outdated. They asked me to modernize their logo. Below, the before/after.
I designed a full sticker suite with the “affirmations” from the recovery community. Mr. Pickles’s goal is to have stickers on each product they sell in the vending machines and allow folks to “re-stick” the stickers wherever they so choose.
After hearing the goals of the business, I created a simple, one-page website for Mr. Pickles, complete with a “submit your affirmation” section, which will fuel the content for the stickers.
Logo Design: Salt Cove Oysters
I designed concepts as part of a bid for a logo design project for a local oyster farm in Maine - Salt Cove.
Apparel Design: Printify
As a personal project (because I can’t seem to be able to sit still), I decided to design some graphics to print on-demand with random sayings or Taylor Swift lyrics (a personal favorite). I haven’t had time to get my Printify shop up and running, but I did order several sample sweatshirts and am planning to get it running in the next few months.
Logo Design: Natalya DeSena Photography
Natalya approached me to work on her logo to elevate her photography brand style and asked for an “embossed” look, which you see below. She worked with a different vendor for her website, but you can see it in action here.
